MicroCPD Summary

This MicroCPD course provides doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other allied clinical healthcare professionals (HCPs) with the essential knowledge and practical skills to identify, assess, and manage delirium effectively across diverse healthcare settings. Delirium is a common but under-recognised acute neurocognitive disorder associated with increased morbidity, prolonged hospital stays, and long-term cognitive decline. Early recognition and evidence-based intervention are critical to improving patient outcomes. This course equips HCPs with validated screening tools, non-pharmacological and pharmacological management strategies, and preventive measures to enhance clinical care and patient safety.
