This course aims to develop the preceptor's knowledge and skills of professional nurses. This course will enhance the ability of preceptors to facilitate an effective preceptorship of newly qualified professional nurses. The preceptorship model for newly qualified professional nurses course, is designed for professional nurses who offer clinical teaching and learning to newly professional nurses. It aims to equip participants with the skills to develop a preceptorship programme based on their specific unit. Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application, participants will explore the rationale for preceptorship, conceptualise preceptorship and understand the impact of preceptorship in healthcare.
