Webinar Overview

This 60-minute recorded webinar brings together a multidisciplinary panel to explore the practical realities of caring for people living with Motor Neuron Disease. Using a real clinical case, the panel unpacks how care needs evolve over time and how coordinated teamwork supports patients and families through progressive decline.

Through practical examples, you’ll learn how to recognise and respond to common challenges in MND care, including:

  • Communication difficulties and dysphagia
  • Respiratory symptoms and the need for ventilatory support
  • Nutritional decline and decisions around PEG placement
  • Increasing care needs and caregiver burden

Grounded in compassionate, collaborative care, this session highlights how small, practical adjustments and proactive planning can support comfort, dignity and quality of life for patients and their families.
