Across structured classes and a final practical module, participants will:

  • Learn the foundations of Regulatory Affairs and dossier requirements.
  • Learn how to interpret and apply guidelines from SAHPRA, EMA, ICH, and WHO.
  • Gain hands-on experience compiling Modules 1-5 in eCTD format.
  • Apply international best practices using Pharmers proprietary tools.
  • Work through 2 real-world dossiers in a simulated regulatory environment.

About the academic institution

Pharmers Academy is a private distance learning establishment that provides skills development course and job- relevant training to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in South Africa and abroad. Our focus is on “excellent outcomes” as we provide a high standard of practical skills and courses.

Pharmers Academy was founded in 2020, and provides over 30 courses in a range of medico-pharmaceutical topics relevant for learners aspiring to enter the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry at large. Our learner base is diverse with new and returning candidates across the southern African region. Our training site and office is in Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa, were we conduct live sessions; but primarily operate in an online and remote manner to reach further learners in the most flexible way.

Passionate about bridging theory and practice, she guides learners wishing to understand regulatory affairs with real dossiers and simulations exercises.

Patricia has worked as an evaluator (Quality & Bioequivalence) and SAHPRA advisory member and she has also worked as a responsible & regulatory pharmacist in industry compiling dossiers for multiple manufacturers.
