MicroCPD Summary

This MicroCPD course equips healthcare professionals (HCPs) with essential skills to rapidly identify, assess, and manage allergic reactions, including life-threatening anaphylaxis. Participants will learn evidence-based emergency interventions, including epinephrine (adrenaline) administration, airway management, and supportive care. The MicroCPD course also covers the recognition and monitoring of biphasic reactions, management of refractory anaphylaxis, and considerations for special populations, such as paediatric, elderly, and beta blocker users. By improving their ability to manage allergic emergencies effectively, HCPs can enhance patient safety and prevent fatal outcomes.
