Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to common pathologies encountered in general practice and aims to enhance your understanding of diagnostic ultrasound's impact on healthcare delivery. After completing this course, participants can further expand their knowledge by enrolling in more comprehensive ultrasound programs taught by experienced sonographers.
The course offers a blend of online learning and two days of practical training on real patients. With an ultrasound machine-to-student ratio of 1 to 5, participants benefit from extensive hands-on practice and close supervision. The course's straightforward approach is ideal for beginners or those with limited scanning experience, providing a unique and systematic method for acquiring diagnostic imaging skills in a short time. The course is accredited for 30 CPD points with the HPCSA.
