Course overview

Provides up-to-date information on the management on numerous life-threatening emergencies such as CPR, AED use and choking.

Ensures providers are confident in their practical capabilities and knowledge needed in these areas.

The course ensures that the provider is prepared for a scenario where their practical skills will be necessary to efficiently provide life-saving maneuvers.

The online portion of the program is designed for healthcare provider who need Basic Life Support training for their clinical duties. Utilising a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatisations, Cognitive Assessment Activities (CAAs), illustrations, knowledge checks and interactive activities, this program teaches BLS knowledge and skills. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Students can work at their own pace, applying their knowledge to real-time decision-making.
Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity.

An in-person day allows the healthcare provider to put these skills into practise, and students are supported to ensure maximum learning and optimal outcomes.
