This MicroCPD equips emergency healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage acute cannabis toxicity and overdose. Participants will learn to recognise cannabis toxidromes, differentiate between natural cannabis and synthetic cannabinoid toxicity, implement evidence-based emergency interventions, and apply pharmacological and supportive treatments, including benzodiazepines and capsaicin therapy for CHS.

The MicroCPD also covers IV lipid emulsion therapy for severe synthetic cannabinoid toxicity and key considerations for patient disposition and toxicology referral.
